Details of Haze of Indigo -
The palette is accentuated of blues with a touch of magenta that runs thru the painting as a focal point. The indigo coulour represents movement of a river and the blended haze is mist of the early morning hours. I live where early mornings can be hazy and quiet. The river is our towns focal point and gives much joy and sometimes despair. This painting evokes an emotional response of calmness, silence and beauty for me.
